The Sixth Element School was born out of a profound love for children and a vision to provide a global yet Indian learning experience. The journey began in 2004 with the establishment of the early years campus in South City 1, Gurgaon. This initial step was taken by the passionate founders, Jyoti and Bawa Grover, who were driven by their desire to create an environment where children could thrive academically and personally. In 2021, their vision expanded with the opening of a larger K-12 campus at Tata Primanti, furthering their commitment to delivering exceptional education.

Jyoti & Bawa Grover

Jyoti and Bawa Grover co-founded The Sixth Element School with a strong desire and passion for working with children and providing them with a global yet Indian learning experience. Bawa, armed with a background in engineering and management education from XLRI Jamshedpur, brings decades of experience and global MNC corporate expertise in operations, marketing, project management, innovation, and new technologies. Jyoti’s qualifications and expertise in Psychology, Play therapy, child protection, and education set the vision and direction for each of our schools.
Their dedication to creating a nurturing and innovative educational environment is evident in every aspect of the school. The Sixth Element School is fully certified by the Cambridge International IGCSE education board, offering a curriculum that is both rigorous and globally recognized. The school’s philosophy is inspired by the frameworks of Jean Piaget, Vygotsky, and Bruner, emphasizing discovery knowledge, social interaction, and cognitive development.

Our senior management team is dedicated and experienced, specializing in operational governance and enabling joyous learning powered by our strong Child Development and educational pedagogy and experiential international curriculum delivery.

Alka Kumar - Advisor

Known affectionately as Bulbul, Alka Kumar is the backbone of our school. A firm believer in the potential of every child, Alka is the driving force behind our commitment to surpass boundaries. Her candid, energetic, and persuasive approach transforms even the most inexperienced teachers into effective educators within three months. She holds a postgraduate degree in Economics and is a specialist in Early Childhood Care. With extensive experience in blending traditional, value-based approaches to primary education with contemporary methodologies, Alka actively leads curriculum design and assessment. Additionally, she serves as a consultant for Literacy India, an NGO dedicated to supporting underprivileged children. Her innovative and dedicated efforts ensure that the educational programs are both meaningful and impactful.

Dr. Raj Grover - Patron

With 23 years of experience as the Principal of DAV College of Education for Women in Karnal, Dr. Raj Grover is our most experienced member. During her tenure, she was presented with The Best Principal Award for leading the best College of Education in Haryana. Throughout her distinguished career, she has held key positions in numerous academic associations and served as the President of the Association of Teacher Educators, overseeing all 19 training colleges in Haryana for four years. She has also been the Paper Setter and Head Examiner in Mathematics & Education for various universities, demonstrating her deep expertise in the field. Her contributions to academics, sports, and co-curricular activities are remarkable, having received the prestigious Arya Jagat Award twice. Dr. Grover’s extensive experience and outstanding achievements make her a valuable asset to our educational community, inspiring excellence and dedication in all aspects of school life.
