Transport Facility
Trained Drivers
All drivers at The Sixth Element School are thoroughly trained, carry valid driving licenses, and are carefully selected, monitored, and governed by our School’s Transportation Head. These drivers are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children they transport.
Assistant on Every School Vehicle
To enhance safety, every school MUV is staffed with a fully trained school attendant, usually a lady, in addition to the trained school driver. This supplementary safety measure ensures that children are closely monitored during the journey and that assistance is readily available in the unlikely event of an emergency. Both drivers and attendants are trained in a “child-first” approach, basic first aid, and are fully informed about legal requirements, particularly those related to POCSO and POSH.
Real-Time Vehicle Tracking
Our Piggyride MUVs offer real-time tracking via the Piggyride app, allowing parents to see the exact location of their child’s vehicle and receive timely updates on arrival times.
School Transportation Distance Coverage
In line with our transportation and education policy, we do not encourage long-distance daily travel for students. We maintain a maximum travel time of 30-45 minutes one way or a radius of 5-10 kilometers from our school campus. This policy minimizes travel time, allowing students to devote more time to study, sports, and play, which are crucial for their overall development.
Vehicle Selection
We exclusively use high-quality, air-conditioned Multi-Utility Vehicles (MUVs) for transportation, avoiding the use of buses. This decision is based on our commitment to reducing the time children spend boarding and disembarking, thus maximizing their productive time at school.
Safety Standards
Each of our school transportation vehicles, typically quality Multi-Utility Vehicles (MUVs) seating up to 8 passengers, is equipped with individual seat belts, air-conditioning, and other essential safety features. These vehicles adhere to best practices in school transportation. We conduct regular maintenance, servicing, and safety checks, ensuring that seat belts, child door locks, and all onboard safety equipment are fully operational. Our Piggyride MUVs are also fitted with CCTV cameras for added security.
